Modex launched its token via an ICO in 2017 to promote its Modex Blockchain Database (MBDB), enabling businesses to deploy blockchain solutions. The MODEX Token was launched with regulatory compliance from the Gibraltar Financial Service Commission, a rarity in the industry. Now, under new management and a revised strategy, Modex aims to assign utility to the token. It has transitioned into a Blockchain-as-a-Service company, catering to Web2 players and leveraging Web3 solutions for consumers and clients’ engagement and monetization.
