Calling all developers, we are expanding our team of software engineers! We are looking for a new team member to fill in the role of DevOps Engineer. We want you to help us build and set up new development tools and infrastructures, test and examine written code and work on ways to automate and improve product development life cycle and release processes. Our ideal candidate should have significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments, AWS Cloud Formation, Azure Cloud, Ruby, Python, Java or JavaScript, and extended knowledge in managing databases such MySQL or MongoDB.

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure;
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers;
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes;
• Testing and examining code written by others and analysing results;
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats;
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’;
• Plan develop and maintain cd/cd pipelines;
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended;
• Working with q&a department to ensure tests integrate seamless;
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions;
• On-call incident response and incident management;
• Implementation of actionable monitoring solutions.

• Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments;
• Good cloud knowledge – ideally Azure Cloud;
• Good knowledge of either Ruby, Python, Java or javaScript;
• Good knowledge about Jenkins or other CI/CD automation servers;
• Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, MongoDB.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services;
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service;
• Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies;
• Ability to create and maintain bash scripts;
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have!

• experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios).
